Nixa Hardware & Seed Co is your hometown hardware store serving Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas since 1899.

Nixa Hardware & Seed Co. offers a Lowest Price Guarantee. If you find a lower price on the same item at another retailer, let us know and we’ll beat it. That’s how we make sure you’re getting a fair deal every time you shop with us.

We treat every customer like a neighbor, because most of the time, you are one. Whether you’re a first-time homeowner or a longtime DIY enthusiast, our staff can give you expert advice and help you find exactly what you need, not just point you down an aisle. That’s how we’ve done business since 1899, and it’s not changing anytime soon.

Nixa Hardware & Seed Co. carries the brands people trust. Stihl and SCAG Mowers handle small engines, while Carhartt and Key keep you covered with durable workwear. In the garden, we stock Miracle-Gro and Bonnie Plants, and for tackling projects, Dewalt and Diablo. Behlen covers farm supplies, and Traeger, Green Mountain, and Blackstone take care of grilling. Hi-Yield and Fertilome keep lawns healthy, and Fiocchi Ammo, Redneck Blinds, and Antler King have you set for hunting season.

This is just a small slice of what we carry. If you don’t see the brand you’re looking for, talk to a manager. We can often special order what you need.

Nixa Hardware & Seed Co. has been serving Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas since 1899. We’re a locally owned, family-run business on seven acres in Nixa, and we carry pretty much everything you need for home, farm, and garden: hardware, tools, workwear, farm equipment, livestock supplies, and power tools.

Our garden center runs year-round with flowers, vegetables, shrubs, soils, fertilizers, and landscaping materials, and our staff knows what actually grows well in this climate. We also sell and install wood pellet and gas stoves, fireplaces, and heating systems, so you can come to us for the whole job, not just the parts.

Seed is where we really stand out. We sell bulk seed at wholesale prices and build custom mixes for turf, forage, wildlife plots, and pollinator projects, with staff who can help you figure out the right mix for farming, pasture work, or land management. We also carry the largest selection of bee supplies in Southwest Missouri, from hive kits to protective gear, for beginners and experienced keepers alike. Our small engine department handles sales, repairs, and maintenance on mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and more.

With over 125 years in business, deep inventory, and staff who actually know this stuff, we’re set up to help folks who work the land, heat their homes, and take care of their property. Stop by and see what we’ve got.
