Spreaders
Even coverage is what separates a lawn that looks good from one that has streaks, missed spots, and burned patches. Hand-held spreaders work well for small lawns and spot treatments, chest mount broadcast spreaders are ideal for larger properties where a push spreader is impractical, and heavy-duty push spreaders with large hoppers cover ground efficiently for fertilizer, seed, ice melt, and granular weed control. A tow-behind spreader makes sense if you’re managing a large lawn or pasture with a riding mower — it covers more ground in less time and handles the big bag sizes that would fill and empty a push spreader constantly.
