Al has been keeping bees since 1979 and leads our annual live bee nuc and package orders, helping local beekeepers plan ahead for spring success. His careful planning helps ensure local beekeepers have access to healthy bees at the right time of year.
At the store, Al supports customers through beginner beekeeping classes and practical guidance on hive care, seasonal planning, and common challenges.
Beyond the store, Al is an active leader in the local beekeeping community. He’s a member of the Bees Alive Club (BAC) and hosts field days at his apiary, offering hands-on learning opportunities for beekeepers at every level.
