Live Bees

Nixa Hardware & Seed Co spring bee orders fill up fast, and for good reason. We offer locally sourced 5-frame nucleus colonies featuring Carniolan Italian bees, a breed well regarded for gentle temperament, easy handling, and quick establishment. Each nuc arrives with drawn comb, an active brood nest, and a laying queen already accepted by the colony: everything you need to hit the ground running. Pre-orders open in January with May pickup. Quantities are limited and orders close when they’re gone, so don’t wait until the ground thaws to get on the list. Pickup is right here in Nixa, just south of Springfield.
