Adjuvant

Herbicides and pesticides work better when the product actually sticks to and penetrates the target plant — that’s what adjuvants do. Spreader stickers help chemicals adhere to waxy or hairy leaf surfaces that would otherwise cause spray to bead off, herbicide enhancers increase uptake and effectiveness, and marking dyes show exactly where you’ve already sprayed so you don’t miss a spot or double-apply.
