Plant Fertilizer
Ozarks soil has opinions. It runs low on phosphorus, resists pH adjustment, and will grow mediocre results indefinitely if left to its own devices. Plant fertilizer works best when the formula lines up with what the plant actually needs at that point in the season — nitrogen for green growth, phosphorus for roots and fruiting, potassium for everything in between. Granular feeds release slowly and suit most garden applications; liquid moves faster when something looks deficient and needs attention now. A soil test first makes every bag go further.
