Epoxy
When a standard glue won’t cut it, epoxy is usually the answer. Two-part formulas from J-B Weld, Devcon, Gorilla, and Loctite bond metal, wood, plastic, and more by mixing a resin and hardener that cures into a rigid, gap-filling hold. Setting time is one of the main decisions — five-minute formulas work well for quick repairs, while slower-cure options give you more working time on trickier jobs. Putty sticks are handy for filling cracks or rebuilding damaged material, and plastic-specific formulas at Nixa Hardware & Seed Co handle surfaces that standard epoxy sometimes won’t touch.
