Floor bumpers are small pads that get screwed to the bottom of cabinet doors, box lids, and other surfaces that close against a hard stop. They cushion the impact, cut down on noise, and protect both surfaces from wear over time. Rubber bumpers absorb more impact and stay put better than plastic on most surfaces, while plastic versions work fine for lighter-duty applications.
