Silage Wrap
Silage wrap is used to seal round bales for fermentation, preserving forage quality through the winter months when fresh grass isn’t available. Wrapping bales tightly and promptly after baling is key to a good ferment — any air gaps can lead to spoilage and dry matter loss. Bale wrap and silage end caps work together to create a complete seal, especially important on the exposed ends where oxygen intrusion is most common. If you’re putting up baleage or wrapping hay for extended storage, having enough wrap on hand before you start cutting saves scrambling mid-harvest.
