This Type N mortar mix is ideal for projects such as constructing or repairing brick fireplaces, walls, veneer brick, and tuck-pointing mortar joints. Simply add water to obtain a workable mixture that offers reliable adhesion and durability for everyday masonry tasks.

Each 60 lb bag requires approximately 3.75 to 4.3 quarts (3.5 to 4 liters) of clean water to achieve the ideal mortar consistency for spreading and bonding. The mix conforms to ASTM C270 and 387 standards and achieves compressive strength exceeding 750 psi after 28 days. It can be hand or machine mixed for convenience and is suitable for use in various masonry projects including walls, fireplaces, pillars, and tuck-pointing. Proper tooling of mortar joints when thumbprint hard ensures a smooth, watertight finish that enhances the longevity and appearance of the masonry.
