Made of durable polypropylene, this trap fits standard 10-frame hives and can also be cut to fit 8-frame equipment. It allows beekeepers to quickly and easily collect propolis, which is highly sought-after for its anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial properties.

To use the propolis trap, simply replace your inner cover with the plastic trap. The bees will fill the grooves with propolis, making it easy to collect. To remove the propolis, place the trap inside a plastic bag and freeze it overnight. Twist or gently bang the trap inside the bag against a flat surface to release the propolis.
