For the best and most secure fit, always measure the outside diameter of the furniture leg you need to cover. Since these tips are rubber and do not stretch significantly, the leg’s diameter must be very close to the 1-1/8 inch inner size. If the tip feels too snug to push on by hand, try dipping the end of the furniture leg in a small amount of warm water for about 30 seconds; this slightly softens the rubber and allows the tip to slide on with minimal effort.
