A useful trick for drawer fronts is to always center the hardware vertically, but for a top row of drawers, try placing the template’s vertical center slightly above the exact middle for a more aesthetically pleasing, balanced look. Be sure to use a small, sharp center punch after marking the plastic to create a dimple in the wood before drilling.
