The AP23 Winter Patties are high-carbohydrate feed patties designed to support honeybee colonies during winter months when natural food sources are scarce. These patties are formulated with sugar, AP23 (Artificial Pollen 23), and Honey-B-Healthy, providing essential energy without stimulating premature brood production. Each pack contains 10 patties, making them convenient for winter and early spring feeding.

These patties are easy to use—simply place them on top of the brood chamber frames, directly above the bee cluster. They can be left in their wax paper for convenience. The patties should be stored below 70°F to prevent melting, though melted patties remain usable but may be messy to handle. Free from bee by-products, these patties align with sustainable beekeeping practices and provide essential nutrition for colony survival during cold months.
