Blue Gray Chop Stone 4″x4″ is a natural limestone masonry material that offers a clean, squared appearance for structured landscape projects. You will appreciate how the cool charcoal and silver-blue tones stand out sharply against the vibrant greens and colorful blooms in your garden. Because these stones are machine-cut or “chopped” to a consistent height, they sit flush against one another, making them a natural fit for building low retaining walls or defining crisp, clean walkways. Each piece features a natural cleft surface that holds a non-slip texture, keeping your outdoor features safe and sharp looking through whatever weather rolls in.

Provides enough weight to stay securely in place without the need for deep footings

When installing these stones as a border, digging a shallow trench and filling it with two inches of compacted leveling sand will prevent the stones from sinking unevenly over time. For a professional look, staggering the vertical joints between layers so that each stone rests on the center of the two below it will significantly increase the structural strength of a small wall. If the project requires tight corners, using a masonry chisel and a small sledgehammer to score and snap the stones to your desired length is a reliable method.
