Cutrine-Plus Granular Algaecide is a highly effective algaecide formulated with copper ethanolamine complexes, designed to control a broad range of algae in lakes, ponds, fish hatcheries, irrigation canals, and drainage ditches. This product is hard water stable and significantly less corrosive than other common algaecides. It begins to work immediately upon contact, effectively breaking down the cellular structure of algae, particularly filamentous algae, within 3 to 4 days.

For best results, apply Cutrine-Plus Granular early on a calm, sunny morning when water temperatures are at least 60°F. The granules should settle quickly through the water to target algae effectively. It is advisable to allow at least 1 to 2 weeks between consecutive treatments to avoid oxygen depletion in the water. This product may be toxic to trout if the carbonate hardness of the treated water is below 50 ppm; therefore, testing water hardness is recommended before application. Avoid using Cutrine-Plus in waters containing Koi or hybrid goldfish.
