Even though this caulk is paintable in 2 hours, if you are working in a highly humid or cool environment, allow an extra hour or two before painting to ensure the caulk is fully skinned over and will not lift with the paint brush. For the cleanest lines, apply the caulk, tool it immediately, and then use a damp sponge to remove any excess caulk before it skins over.
