The Durvet DuraCream Teat & Udder Balm 4 oz is an all-around soothing cream that offers excellent protection for chapped or irritated skin, both on your livestock and your own hands. This isn’t a greasy, heavy ointment; it has a creamy cosmetic base that absorbs easily, making application simple and mess-free. Daily use creates a protective barrier that shields delicate skin from the drying effects of wind, low humidity, and temperature extremes, including frost. The inclusion of vitamins A, D, and E, along with lanolin and aloe vera, ensures deep penetration to soften and condition chapped skin.

I find this product works best for preventative care, especially during the harsh winter months. To get the most protection for your milking herd, make sure you apply the balm liberally right after the last milking of the day. By coating the entire teat and orifice and gently massaging it into the skin, you ensure maximum absorption and a solid barrier of frost and wind protection throughout the night.
