Elanco Vib Shield Plus L5 is a killed bacterin vaccine formulated for use in healthy beef and dairy cattle, including calves, to aid in the prevention of reproductive diseases caused by Campylobacter fetus (vibriosis) and five common strains of Leptospira (canicola, grippotyphosa, hardjo, icterohaemorrhagiae, and pomona). This vaccine is designed for a single-dose administration prior to breeding, providing convenience and reducing stress by eliminating the need for booster doses in endemic areas. The adjuvant Xtend™ SP helps ensure a high, long-lasting immune response by holding the antigens for slow release into the animal’s system.

Store refrigerated at 2° to 8°C (35°–46°F); do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 60 days of slaughter. Not tested in pregnant animals. Transient swelling at the injection site may occur. In case of anaphylactic reaction, treat with epinephrine. Needles and syringes are sold separately.
