The most critical step in using this epoxy is mixing: measure equal volumes exactly, then mix vigorously for 2 full minutes, scraping the sides and bottom. To ensure a perfect cure, pour the mixture into a second, clean container and mix vigorously for another minute. After pouring the epoxy, any bubbles that rise can be quickly removed by gently passing the flame of a small propane torch or heat gun quickly over the surface while holding it at least 6 inches away. Applying a thin seal coat of the same epoxy first is highly recommended for porous materials like wood to prevent air from escaping and forming bubbles during the final flood coat.
