Grazer Maxx is a soft winter wheat suited for forage, grain and straw production. It offers excellent winter hardiness, strong straw and good standability, along with high palatability and protein that make it a good choice for deer plots. It won’t produce the tonnage of Cold Grazer Rye, but its slower, later spring growth and two-crop potential make it a versatile wheat for the farm or food plot.
Features:
Soft Winter Wheat for forage, grain and straw production
Good Deer Attractant with high palatability and protein
Excellent Winter Hardiness for dependable establishment
Later Spring Growth than Cold Grazer Rye, helping extend the planting window
Lower Grazing Production than Cold Grazer Rye
Requires a Better Seed Bed for establishment than cereal rye
Medium-Fast Emergence with medium-late maturity
