Great Stuff Gaps and Cracks Insulating Foam Sealant 12 oz is a one-component, polyurethane-based expanding foam designed to fill, seal, and insulate gaps and cracks up to 1 inch wide. This cream-colored foam expands to conform to irregular shapes and creates a durable, airtight, and water-resistant seal that helps reduce unwanted airflow and condensation. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, it effectively insulates around plumbing, electrical, and structural gaps in basements, attics, walls, and more.

The cured foam can discolor and eventually crumble when exposed to direct UV light, so it is recommended to paint or coat the foam for outdoor use. The foam cures faster at 70°F and 50% relative humidity but may take up to 24 hours to fully cure, depending on environmental conditions. The Smart Dispenser™ version offers increased control, no dripping, and reusability for up to 30 days. For best results, clean the tip after use and leave the straw attached to preserve the can for future applications. Foam has excellent adhesion to wood, metal, masonry, and more. Great Stuff Gaps and Cracks is flammable until fully cured and should be used with appropriate ventilation and safety precautions.
