For pictures nearing the 30 pound limit, I strongly recommend using two hangers spaced out under the picture wire for extra security and load distribution, which also helps tremendously in keeping a large frame perfectly level. When hammering the small brads into the hanger, hold the hanger in place and tap the nail gently, being careful to drive it straight into the wall at the specified angle to avoid bending the nail.
