Howard Feed-N-Wax should be used whenever wood begins to look faded or dry and works best when applied monthly. Surfaces should be clean and dry before application, and the product should be wiped on, allowed to stand for at least 20 minutes, then polished out with a soft cloth. Contains no silicone or linseed oils, making it suitable for a wide variety of wood types, but it should not be used on food-preparation surfaces. For food-prep areas, Howard Butcher Block Conditioner and Cutting Board Oil are recommended. Always test in an inconspicuous area and wear gloves during use for safety.
