The Loctite Vinyl, Fabric & Plastic Clear Flexible Adhesive 1 oz is your go-to solution for fixing tears, rips, and cracks in materials that bend, stretch, and move. Unlike many rigid glues that crack under stress, this formula creates a bond that remains completely flexible and transparent, making repairs virtually invisible on items like patio furniture, boat covers, or convertible tops. It dries clear and withstands water and temperature extremes, meaning that repaired rain gear or vinyl seats are ready to stand up to the elements again. Reach for this tube when you need a repair that truly moves with the material for a lasting fix.

For the strongest repair, always make sure the surfaces you are bonding are completely clean and dry before applying the adhesive; using a little rubbing alcohol to wipe down vinyl or plastic helps tremendously. When fixing a tear, apply a thin layer to both sides, wait about two minutes until the glue is tacky, and then press the pieces firmly together. This method, known as contact bonding, creates a much stronger, more reliable fix than simply joining wet glue.
