For proper installation and maximum longevity, ensure you use the correct key stock size of 3/16 inch wide by 3/32 inch deep for this 3/4 inch bore. Before assembling, verify that the gap between the faces of the two hubs is correct for the elastomeric spider you are using; too tight or too wide a gap will prematurely wear out the spider and reduce the coupling’s ability to dampen vibration.
