Screw nails are included or optionally available separately for secure attachment. Installation is straightforward and can be completed with a screwdriver or drill using the pre-drilled holes. The stairnose can be trimmed to fit stair widths not equal to the full 3-foot length. Recommended for use with carpeted or hard surface stairs, it also provides a non-slip edge for high foot traffic areas inside the home. Not suitable for outdoor use due to potential weather exposure.
