Additional Information
Noromectin is administered subcutaneously under the loose skin behind or in front of the shoulder in cattle, with a recommended dosage of 200 mcg per kg of body weight. For swine, the recommended dosage is 300 mcg per kg of body weight. Each mL of Noromectin contains a 10 mg dose of ivermectin, sufficient to treat approximately 110 pounds (50 kg) in cattle or 75 pounds (34 kg) in swine. While generally safe, some animals may experience transitory discomfort at the injection site. It is important to follow proper administration guidelines and consult a veterinarian for specific dosing recommendations based on individual animal needs. Always observe withdrawal times before slaughtering treated animals to ensure food safety.
