When using these 75 lb hangers, you must use both in the package, one on each side of the frame, to achieve the full weight rating. When screwing them into the frame, make sure the D-rings point inward toward the center of the frame before attaching the picture wire. This technique ensures the wire runs cleanly and doesn’t rub against the edge of the frame. For the best stability, use a multi-strand stainless steel picture wire that is also rated for 75 lb or more.
