When replacing this module board, always ensure the charger is completely disconnected from all power sources, including the AC outlet and any battery, for at least ten minutes before opening the casing. This is critical because the internal capacitors can hold a lethal charge. Once installed, also check the ground rod connection. Many energizer failures, including repeated module burnout, are actually caused by a poor grounding system, so ensure you have enough ground rods and that the connections are tight and rust-free.
