Each 50 lb bag covers about 6 square feet at a 1-inch thickness. For repairs thicker than 1 inch, apply in 1-inch layers, compacting each layer before adding the next. Proper surface preparation includes cleaning debris and loose material and optionally using a cleaner for better adhesion. The patch bonds permanently to existing asphalt and is ready for traffic immediately after compaction, accelerating repair timelines. Avoid dry turning tires on the patch until fully hardened; full curing may take up to 30 days before applying sealers. This product meets ASTM standards and air quality regulations with low VOC emissions.
