Red Cell should be fed according to the horse’s activity level, with 2 fluid ounces daily recommended for horses in training and 1 fluid ounce daily for horses not in training. It can be administered by mixing into the daily feed ration or given orally with a dose syringe. Care should be taken not to exceed the supplemental selenium intake of 0.3 ppm on a complete ration basis, as excessive selenium can be toxic. The product should be stored in a cool, dry place and shaken well before use; it must be kept from freezing. Red Cell is not intended for use in copper-sensitive animals such as sheep.
