When rebuilding your top link with this new tube, it is essential to purchase both a right-hand thread and a left-hand thread end to allow the assembled link to lengthen and shorten by simply spinning the tube. Always apply anti-seize compound liberally to the threads of both ends before screwing them into the tube. This simple preventative step is key to ensuring the link remains adjustable for years to come, preventing the threads from locking up due to rust and dirt.
