Uriah Dual-Ball Trailer Hitch Mount is a solid steel bar with two chrome-plated balls for hauling different trailers without changing your setup. It features a 1-7/8-inch ball for small utility trailers and a 2-inch ball for standard boat or cargo trailers. You switch between the two by pulling the hitch pin and rotating the mount, which stops you from having to hunt for a wrench or a different ball in your truck bed. The shank is sized to fit into a standard 2-inch receiver and is rated to pull up to 6,000 pounds. It’s the mount you grab when you have a flatbed for the lawnmower and a camper for the weekend and want to tow both with the same hitch.

Before you begin towing, always check the weight ratings stamped on each individual ball, as the 1-7/8-inch ball typically has a lower weight capacity than the 2-inch ball. It is a good practice to apply a small amount of hitch ball grease to the chrome surface to minimize friction and prevent the “grinding” noise often heard during tight turns. Additionally, verify that your hitch pin and safety clip are fully engaged and locked before every trip to ensure the mount remains securely fastened inside your receiver tube.
