Before applying these fasteners, always be sure to clean the surface you are applying them to with a little rubbing alcohol. Any dust or dirt will weaken the adhesive bond and the fastener will come off prematurely. Use a little rubbing alcohol to clean the surface and let it dry completely before you press the fastener firmly into place. For the strongest hold, it’s best to let the adhesive cure for 24 hours before you apply any load to the fastener.
