This Richelieu Aluminum Cable Ferrules & Stops 3/32” 2 pk is the perfect small piece of hardware for cleanly and securely terminating light-duty wire rope and cable. If you’re hanging art, securing lighter gates, or building a small tension line, these sleeves provide a crimp that you can trust won’t slip under a moderate load. They have a precise, soft feel, which is exactly what you want when you’re about to crimp them with your swaging tool. They resist corrosion outdoors and allow you to form permanent loops or fixed end stops quickly and reliably for a professional result every time.

Since these are for thinner cable, you need to be careful not to over-crimp them, which can weaken the cable itself. When you use your swaging tool, focus on compressing the ferrule enough to flow the metal around the cable, but stop before you distort the ends. Also, always cut your cable with a sharp cable cutter before installing these; frayed ends will prevent the cable from passing smoothly through the ferrule, making a good crimp impossible.
