Spike 20P Herbicide is a granular herbicide designed for the control of woody plants, brush, and weeds in non-crop areas. Its active ingredient, tebuthiuron at 20%, inhibits photosynthesis in target plants, effectively preventing their growth and development. This herbicide is particularly effective against tough infestations, including species such as big sage, shinnery oak, and creosote bush. Spike 20P enhances grazing and wildlife habitats by clearing out unwanted vegetation.

Spike 20P should be applied when the soil is not frozen or saturated with moisture. For optimal results, applications are best made prior to the resumption of active seasonal growth in the spring or before expected rainfall. The product has a shelf life of up to three years when stored in a dry, clean location. Care should be taken to avoid application near desirable trees or other woody species, as exposure to the root system may cause severe injury or death to those plants. Always follow label instructions for specific application rates and safety precautions to ensure effective use while protecting surrounding vegetation.
