For a secure bond, the surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of oil or grease; lightly sanding the surface before application will further improve adhesion. Although it cures faster than the original formula, allow at least 7 days for the sealant to reach its maximum strength, and confirm the specific tack-free time on the packaging before exposing it to water.
