The Ace Gold Nail-On Brass Swivel Glides 1” 4 pk are the premium choice for protecting your floors, especially under chairs and furniture with angled legs. The classic gold-tone brass finish provides a highly decorative touch, and the unique swivel feature ensures the protective base always sits flat against the floor, regardless of the angle of the chair leg. Unlike flimsy adhesive pads, these glides securely nail directly into the wood for a permanent connection. The smooth brass base allows furniture to move quietly and easily over carpet, hardwood, and tile without snagging or scratching.

When installing these glides, it is absolutely essential to pre-drill a pilot hole that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the nail. This is especially true for hardwood furniture legs, as forcing the nail into dense wood will cause the wood to split. Once the pilot hole is ready, gently tap the nail until the brass cup is flush with the bottom of the leg, avoiding any forceful blows that might bend the nail or damage the brass.
