Bar-Vac-7 provides immunity against Clostridium chauvoei, Cl. septicum, Cl. novyi, Cl. sordellii, and Cl. perfringens Types C and D. The recommended dosage is 5 ml for cattle and 2.5 ml for sheep, administered subcutaneously. For optimal protection, an initial vaccination should be followed by a booster dose after 21-28 days, with subsequent annual revaccinations. Store the vaccine between 35-46°F (2-8°C) and avoid freezing to maintain its efficacy.
