Bar-Vac-7 should be stored out of direct sunlight at temperatures between 35°F and 46°F (2°C to 8°C) and should not be frozen. It is important to use the entire contents once opened and to avoid mixing with other products. Vaccination should not occur within 21 days prior to slaughter to ensure food safety. Monitoring the injection site for transient swelling is recommended, and in the case of an anaphylactoid reaction, epinephrine should be administered.
