When dealing with large volumes like this 1-gallon kit, precise measuring and thorough mixing are absolutely essential to ensure a complete cure; inaccurate ratios or poor mixing will result in tacky, soft spots. For bar tops or tables, always pre-seal the wood first with a thin coat of the same epoxy to prevent “outgassing” (air bubbles escaping from the wood grain) during the final flood coat. The ideal working temperature is between 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit in a dust-free room.
