To keep your fluids pure, always wipe the inside of the funnel with a clean rag before use to remove any dust or storage debris that could contaminate your engine. If you are pouring very thick gear oil in cold weather, try keeping the oil container in a warm room for an hour beforehand to help it flow more freely through the spout.
