The Uriah BT8 Spindle Bearing Kit 1” is a comprehensive solution for maintaining the hubs on your utility trailer, boat trailer, or light-duty equipment. You will find that this kit takes the guesswork out of a hub rebuild by providing precision-matched components that work together to eliminate axle play and vibration. Working with these parts feels rewarding because the smooth-rolling bearings reduce friction, which prevents the overheating that often leads to roadside breakdowns. It provides everything you need to restore a single wheel to its original performance, ensuring your trailer follows behind your vehicle with stability and quiet efficiency.

When you are ready to seat the new races into your hub, use a brass drift or a dedicated race driver to avoid scarring the polished surface where the bearings will ride. It is a good practice to fill the cavity of the hub with fresh grease before sliding it back onto the spindle, which creates a reservoir to keep the bearings lubricated during long trips. Before you put the dust cap back on, ensure the cotter pin is bent back tightly so it cannot rub against the inside of the cap and create metal shavings.
