Whether you are patching a leaking PVC pipe under a sink, repairing a cracked fiberglass boat hull, or fixing a hole in a stock tank out in a Missouri pasture, this putty provides a permanent solution that cures underwater. The convenient “stick” format contains both the resin and hardener in a single unit; you simply cut off the amount you need and kneed it by hand until it turns a uniform color. Once applied, it sets into a hard, white waterproof plug that can withstand significant pressure and can be sanded or drilled once fully cured.

To ensure the best possible bond, use a piece of sandpaper or a wire brush to roughen the area around the leak, as this gives the putty a “mechanical tooth” to grip onto. Before you apply the putty, make sure your hands are slightly damp; this prevents the sticky resin from clinging to your fingers while you work it into the crack. If you are plugging a pressurized pipe, try to turn off the water supply temporarily if possible, as this allows the putty to seat firmly into the hole without the water pressure pushing it back out before it has time to harden.
