For the strongest possible bond, it is critical to properly prepare the plastic surface before applying the epoxy; clean the area thoroughly with soap and water, then scuff the surface with coarse sandpaper or a wire brush to create a rough texture. Once dispensed, mix the two parts completely until the color is uniform. Because this is a fast-setting formula, only mix the amount you can apply and clamp or secure within the 15-minute working time. Allow at least 24 hours for the epoxy to reach its full cure strength before exposing the repaired part to stress or sanding it.
