Quikrete Fast-Setting Concrete Mix 60 lb is a specially blended concrete designed to set hard in approximately 20 to 40 minutes, making it ideal for projects requiring rapid return to service. This mix requires no pre-mixing; simply pour the dry mix into a hole, add water, and it starts setting quickly. It’s suitable for setting posts, sleeves, anchors, and pouring slabs 2 inches or thicker. With a reliable 4000 psi compressive strength at 28 days, it balances fast setting with durable performance for both professional and DIY applications.

Each 60 lb bag yields about 0.45 cubic feet (12.7 liters) of concrete mix. For optimal results, the mix should be combined with about 1¼ gallons (4.7 liters) of water per bag, adjusted for soil and weather conditions. The product meets ASTM standards and allows traffic after 4 hours of curing. It supports machine or hand mixing and is tested for compressive strength development at multiple intervals up to 28 days. Recommended hole diameter for post setting is three times the post width, with hole depth half the post height to ensure stability.
